View from the terrace - Credits: AJ. Suspended above the hustle and bustle of the historic city, the Fondaco’s rooftop terrace boasts one of the only places in Venice where the public is able to take in a panoramic view of the city. They can gaze to their heart’s content at the unbeatable sight of campaniles and churches that line the horizon, watch the world go by across the Rialto Bridge and take in the unique glow of the setting sun as it illuminates the city’s distinctive tiled roofs.
Indeed, one can see far across the Venetian Lagoon even to the peaks of the nearby Italian Alps.
