Home to the original handmade lace, the Museo del Merletto is a not-to-be-missed destination while in Burano.
Located in Burano, the museum is housed in a small building, formerly home to Venice’s famous Lace School. Boasting more than two-hundred rare, priceless pieces, the exhibition chronicles the evolution of the art of lace-making in Venice from the 16th to 20th centuries.
