Being the only sestiere featuring car connections with mainland, the locations home to special events and exhibition can be reached almost with any means of transport both by road and by water. A characteristic and picturesque venue, sestiere Cannaregio is mostly known for being home to the Jewish Ghetto and spectacular historical and modern bridges connecting the district with sestiere San Polo. Cannaregio is home to Venezia Santa Lucia railway station.
